Today, like all others, we're up at 5 a.m. Our dog doesn't know what it means to sleep in or late for that matter. However, I had to go to Essex county today to take my aunt to two doctor's appointments. I left just before 9 a.m. and got home after 3 p.m.
My son-in-law had purchased a package of ricotta cavetelli from Pastosa that they weren't going to eat.  While at Shop Rite for my aunt, I picked up two heads of broccoli to make cavatelli with broccoli. I have a recipe that I acquired a long time ago that appeared on a package of Celentano cavatelli. The recipe is straightford, but does call for shallots or scallions, plum tomatoes (which I leave out) fresh parsley and basil.
