![]() As my husband and I don't eat much red meat, I like to find recipes that emulate beef. One of those items is a boneless turkey tenderloin, which for some reason reminds me of London broil. I found this recipe on a package Shady Brook Farms Breast Tenderloins. However, I purchase boneless turkey breasts at Wegmans for $5.49/lb. I made this recipe last Friday when I had to work the closing shift at work. I grill the meat on heavy duty foil. I preheat the grill with all three burners on, then lower the middle burner to the lowest setting so I don't burn the underside of the meat. A tip I recently learned from watching Lidia Bastianich cooking show, that if you want meat to cook all the way through evenly, you should let your meat come to room temperature. If you prefer your meat rare, cook it cold. As I was finishing cooking my supper, my daughter and her husband arrived. They too shared in some of the lemon pepper turkey. The fresh lemon zest along with the red pepper flakes made it a tasty dish. Index
