My posting is a bit off here, as I should have posted this before my Happy New Year blog, however, it's another catch up day for me. New Years Eve I worked until 5 pm and although my husband and I talked about going out for dinner, we opted to stay in. I wanted something special, but could be prepared in less than 45 minutes. I found a recipe for shrimp and snow peas that I haven't made in quite awhile. All the ingredients were purchased ahead and it was a one pan meal, not including the rice. This is another recipe that I found in a Wegmans flyer. Besides the shrimp you'll need snow peas (purchased at Delicious Orchards for $2.99/lb.), red pepper ($3.99/lb), small white onion, green onions (I omitted) and General Tso's Sauce. Wegmans carries Iron Chef General Tso's Sauce and Glaze, however, as I didn't have time before work to go there, but I was able to locate a comparable product at Shop Rite in their international aisle.
