One of the things I enjoy is, walking through Williams-Sonoma stores to check out their new products, and more importantly, their sales. At this time of the year, I will try to stock up on fall favorites to see if my husband and I would enjoy eating some of their terrific products. Some of the products below may not be in my local store, but I’ll check another nearby store.

What’s on sale right now are some of my favorite items at reduced prices. I store my items in my basement, which is cool and dark. I do purchase some items to be used next fall, but make sure to check your expiration dates.

While there are many items on sale, I focus on items that can be used for dessert or main meals. I also noticed when check availability online, the following note was on some pages, “Currently only available for store pick up.” Here are some suggestions for you:
  1. On the item page, type in your zip code to see if it’s available in your local W-S store.
  2. Visit the store, sometimes what’s available in store is not accurately reflected on line.
  3. Visit your local store once a week as they may receive shipments of previous season foods.

I roast boneless turkey breasts every other week. I have an old stainless steel manual meat slicer that my husband uses to slice the meat. I find glazes and dry rubs make for more interesting flavors.

I also love Williams-Sonoma dish towels and cloth. they are 100% Turkish cotton , very absorbent and durable.
