If a late lunch or early dinner is more doable I love Melissa Clark’s Porchetta Pork Chops. The pork came out succulent with a robust flavor; they were fabulous. Another favorite BBQ Rub Roasted Chickens, a recipe from “Southern Living Magazine.” What a delicious, tasty, flavorful chicken! My husband absolutely loved it as he devoured both chicken legs and a wing. The meat was moist and tender. The combination of spices lent a delightful flavor to the meat. Who doesn’t like pasta? Chicken Tetrazzini is a great crowd pleaser that be made ahead of your guests’ arrival. Pasta Primavera with Asparagus and Peas takes approximately 20 minutes to prepare. Dorie Greenspan’s Whole-Lemon Tart is heavenly! The tart was absolutely delicious! I loved the flavor of using the whole lemon, it was a mild sour, tart taste that made for enjoyable eating. I dusted the top with confectioner’s sugar to add a touch of sweetness. If mom loves chocolate as much as I do, Genevieve Ko’s Flourless Chocolate Cake will leave you speechless. You’ll need unsalted butter, bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate chips, unsweetened natural cocoa powder, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
